The price
On this page
Per user per month. Four founding bands of 250 seats each, sold in order.
| Band | Name | Price per user per month | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Spark | £69 | First 250 |
| 2 | Ignition | £89 | Next 250 |
| 3 | Momentum | £120 | Next 250 |
| 4 | Velocity | £150 | Next 250 |
| After the bands | Standard | £250 per licence, stepping down in stages to £100 for customers with 400 or more licences | Everyone after |
The steps between £250 and £100 are not set (D14). Never quote or estimate one. Say: "Talk to us. The steps for larger teams aren't published, and I'd rather get you the real number than guess."
RuleNever assume Spark is open. One order can close a band. Every script is written for "the band open today": confirm it with John that day. Every sector buys at the open band until D30 is decided.
The arithmetic#
Seats x band price = monthly cost; monthly cost x 12 = annual cost. Per year:
| Seats | Spark (£69) | Ignition (£89) | Momentum (£120) | Velocity (£150) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | £828 | £1,068 | £1,440 | £1,800 |
| 5 | £4,140 | £5,340 | £7,200 | £9,000 |
| 10 | £8,280 | £10,680 | £14,400 | £18,000 |
| 25 | £20,700 | £26,700 | £36,000 | £45,000 |
| 50 | £41,400 | £53,400 | £72,000 | £90,000 |
Per month, ten seats: £690, £890, £1,200, £1,500. Five seats: £345, £445, £600, £750. Twenty-five: £1,725, £2,225, £3,000, £3,750. Fifty: £3,450, £4,450, £6,000, £7,500.
The yearly gap between the open band and a later band. Working: (later price minus open price) x seats x 12. Ten seats, Spark against Ignition: £20 x 10 x 12 = £2,400.
| Open vs later band | Gap a seat a month | 1 seat | 5 | 10 | 25 | 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spark vs Ignition | £20 | £240 | £1,200 | £2,400 | £6,000 | £12,000 |
| Spark vs Momentum | £51 | £612 | £3,060 | £6,120 | £15,300 | £30,600 |
| Spark vs Velocity | £81 | £972 | £4,860 | £9,720 | £24,300 | £48,600 |
| Ignition vs Momentum | £31 | £372 | £1,860 | £3,720 | £9,300 | £18,600 |
| Ignition vs Velocity | £61 | £732 | £3,660 | £7,320 | £18,300 | £36,600 |
| Momentum vs Velocity | £30 | £360 | £1,800 | £3,600 | £9,000 | £18,000 |
The gap repeats every year the customer stays subscribed. Say it once, as arithmetic, never as pressure. Never compute a gap against Standard.
Standard, licences and what is included#
- One licence at Standard is £250 a month. Compute no other Standard figure. Standard has an annual rate 20% below monthly, never on a founding band; two framings in the record give different prices, so never work one out.
- Never describe a founding band as a percentage off Standard ("save 72%"). Standard has not yet been charged to anyone, so a saving against it is a reference-pricing risk under the CAP Code and the BPRs 2008 (research view; Karl to confirm). State both prices and let the buyer see the gap.
- Licence. Say "One licence per person": one user plus that user's own connections. Never say "all six platforms" or list other networks. Say: "LinkedIn first; ask us about other platforms." (D13)
- Included. Say: "The software is all in. Every feature and Holly, in every seat." Holly costs nothing extra at any autonomy level. Never say "no add-ons" flat, "61 features", or any count of features, models or sources. Support is included today; never call a support level permanent or mention an SLA (RED).
- Company pages: AMBER. Do not volunteer; confirm with Dom before quoting. The rule, in the brief's exact words: "the first licence includes one company page connection; every other company page connection is £50 a month in total." Never "£50 each". Dom's feature document lists publishing to personal profiles only, and company page posting may need a separately vetted route (D1 open). Until Dom confirms, quote and promise nothing. If asked: "Let me confirm that for you in writing." Client connections are AMBER too.
