Payment, VAT, refunds and the written quote

• Payment: "When you're ready, we'll set you up and take payment at sign-up." Never "you can buy it on the site" until John confirms checkout works end to end (D29). Invoices: "John will confirm how we handle it."
• VAT: "I'll confirm the VAT position in writing with your quote." Nothing more until John confirms.
• Refunds: "Refunds are whatever the terms you sign say. I won't add anything to them." No money-back guarantee (D21 is a recommendation only).

Hi [name],

Thank you for your time today. As promised, here is the position in writing.

[Only if the buyer asked about Standard, and only once the Standard questions are answered: "Standard pricing is £250 per person per month, stepping down in stages for larger teams."] We are in the founding period, and the band open today is [band name] at £[price] per person per month. For [n] people that is £[n x price] a month. [VAT position as confirmed by John.]

The software is all in: every feature and Holly, in every seat.

The rate you come in at is the rate you keep for as long as you stay subscribed. This is here for teams that grow, not for holding a place in the queue: if an account takes a single seat and then comes back much later wanting two hundred, we will price the new seats at whichever band is open then. If your team is genuinely growing, you will never come across this.

You start on a rolling monthly basis. To keep your founding rate long term you'll move onto a twelve-month agreement when the initial period ends; the exact initial period is in the terms you sign. Pausing or cancelling gives up the founding rate, as does a missed payment not put right within the window set out in the terms. Nothing rolls over without a conversation.

Founding rates close on 31 December, or when the band fills.
