Course 13 · Lesson 1 of 14
Why it matters
Getting someone to sign is half the job. The other half is getting busy people to post, week after week, until it is routine. Plan for 90 days, expect most people not to post unprompted, and grow by seats, never by price (a founding rate holds while subscribed).
- Only about 6.5% of employees share content on LinkedIn (8.8% in staffing and recruiting), across 19,727 companies (DSMN8, 2026). May be quoted, saying "vendor data" aloud. DSMN8 is also a competitor: never name it in social or marketing copy.
- Habits take a median of 66 days (range 18 to 254; Lally and colleagues, 2010). For your understanding only, do not quote. Never say "21 days".
- Slack and Figma net dollar retention figures show expansion is where the money is. For your understanding only, do not quote.
Churn benchmarks and funnel targets are in the sales metrics and rhythm chapter.
