Lines to use and never to use

Sales team2 min read

Use:

  • "You decide what Holly can do on its own. We recommend a person approves every LinkedIn post."
  • "Holly does the work. You keep the judgement."
  • "See who's engaging with your posts, and reply from one place." "Know who to talk to first."
  • "The software is all in." "Nothing rolls over without a conversation."
  • "The rate you come in at is the rate you keep for as long as you stay subscribed. If you come off and come back, you come back at whatever the price is then."
  • "Founding rates close on 31 December, or when the band fills." (The only deadline.)
  • "I won't promise you what or when, because I'd be making it up."
  • Engagement data, spoken only: "Publishing runs through LinkedIn's own connection: we don't ask for your password and we don't hold one. On the engagement side, I'll get you a written answer from our legal team rather than paraphrase it, because your compliance people will want it exactly right."
  • Gaps: "We don't do that today." Video: "Not available today; it's planned, and I can't give you a date."

Never:

  • Any date for a fix, feature, platform, release or launch; any service level or time to resolve; that a bug won't recur.
  • "Nothing ever publishes without approval" as an absolute.
  • "Locked", "for life", discounts, free seats, months or weeks, discount codes, seats-remaining figures not from live billing, invented urgency.
  • Engagers called "leads", "prospects" or "candidates" in writing; "every like becomes a named lead"; "by the next morning"; "the name, role and company behind every like". Exporting engagers to any CRM; tracking who engages with others' or competitors' posts.
  • "Official APIs only", "Maktura never scrapes", or any written assurance about data sources.
  • "Maktura made you £x" or any revenue, lead or placement attribution.
  • "Undetectable", "beats the algorithm", "replaces your marketing person".
  • Watch alert multipliers, or alert numbers as exact.
  • Other platforms as live; integrations; image generation; email or blog writing; automated replies or engagement; other languages; a mobile app.
  • Any certification, penetration test or "enterprise grade security".
  • Streak-shaming, or a voice "match" percentage.
