Who to introduce

Partner-safe2 min read

By team shape (works in every sector):

  • Freelancers and consultants who sell their own expertise and know they should post more.
  • Businesses and teams of 2 to 50 where a handful of people (founders, directors, senior staff) are the real reason clients buy.
  • Larger organisations of 50 plus, especially regulated ones, where the worry is "we can't let people post without control".

By situation. The best introductions come from a moment. Introduce someone when you hear one of these:

  • "Our LinkedIn is dead", or a managing director asking why nobody posts.
  • A senior person or star performer has just left, and the firm realises the relationships went with them.
  • A new head of marketing or business development needs to show progress, or a new office, team or service is launching.
  • They tried getting staff to post (a mandate, a training day) and it died within weeks.
  • They use ChatGPT to write posts and everything sounds the same.
  • They pay a ghostwriter or agency for one person and wonder how to do it for the whole team.
  • Someone at the firm posted something risky, and leadership wants rules without killing posting.

Note the words they used: your introduction starts from them. Two examples: a recruitment agency owner with ten to fifty consultants who cannot get them to keep posting; and a law firm's managing partner or head of business development who wants partners visible but needs rules checked before anything goes out under the firm's name (expect a longer conversation, often with a compliance lead).

Who not to introduce:

  • Anyone who wants automated likes, comments, connection requests or messages, or a list of people who engaged with their posts to export, prospect or recruit from. Maktura offers neither.
  • Anyone who wants a free trial before paying, or to resell Maktura under their own brand. Neither exists.
  • Businesses outside the UK, unless large: terms are UK only at launch, so register a large overseas organisation and a founder will decide case by case.
  • People you do not actually know. This programme runs on relationships, not lists.
