Course 11 · Lesson 12 of 14
The pre-send check
Run it on anything customer-facing. Answer every point in writing; "not applicable" is fine, silence is not.
- Does it say, or point to, why we built it? (MK7)
- Does the buyer's problem come first, as friction? Blank page, no time, voice, compliance worry, not knowing who engaged.
- Does it end on a buyer action? (book a call, see Holly draft for their role, talk to John)
- Is every claim GREEN, or AMBER with its condition met?
- Does it pass the engagement rule and the outputs rule?
- Are the numbers right? Commercial answers prices; illustrations labelled; statistics with sources; nothing from the never-quote list.
- Is it sector neutral, if public?
- Confidentiality and consent: no names or internal numbers; every proof item consented; Alex's figures re-confirmed for print.
- No dates; nothing from the never-claim list; Holly wording per the Holly rules.
- House and advertising rules: British English, second person; no banned words; no em or en dashes; Approve and Dismiss in quoted product copy; "Holly, in {name}'s voice"; no superlatives; sincere register.
Can't resolve an item? List it as a question for John and hold the item.
