Outcomes, and the honesty and price passage

What they actually get (in priority order)#
Don't list features. Say these, in order, and stop at the one that lands.
- Your whole team visible, every week, in their own voices.
- Fewer posts anyone regrets. Your rules checked before anything goes out, a person approving every LinkedIn post as we recommend, and a record of who did what.
- Time back. The job becomes approving, not writing. Worked illustration: about 190 hours per person a year, at their own charge-out rate (Commercial answers).
- Know who to talk to first. See who's engaging with your posts, and reply from one place.
- A simpler stack. One login, the software all in.
- Less key person risk. The business stops depending on one person's visibility.
- Visibility that compounds. Consistency builds on itself; stop-start never does.
- Easier hiring, said softly. Visible firms find it easier to attract people (our view; unmeasured).
Never promise enquiries, revenue or a return. Alex's triage question: does a tool do something I can't do, make me better at something I can do, or neither? "Maktura is the middle one."
The honesty and price passage (word for word)#
Two short pieces, in order, then a pause. Detail only when they ask.
(a) Honesty, before price.
"I'll be straight with you about where we are. It's used every working day in the recruitment business one of our founders owns, and we're opening it to a first group of businesses now. It's a first release, so there'll be rough edges. That's why the founding rates exist: you're getting a better rate because you're using it early and helping shape it, and you get a direct line to the people who build it."
(b) Price, then pause.
"Right now it's £[open band price] a person a month, and the software's all in, Holly included. That's a founding rate. It closes on 31 December, or when the band fills, and the rate you come in at is the rate you keep for as long as you stay subscribed."
State the band open today, from live billing; never assume Spark is open. Then stop talking. Never say "list price". Never discount: "No, and I'd rather tell you that straight than pretend to go and ask."
(c) Only when asked, one answer at a time.
- The bands: four founding bands of 250 seats each, sold in order: £69, £89, £120, £150 a person a month.
- After 31 December, or Standard (only when they ask): Standard, £250 a licence, stepping down in stages to £100 for customers with 400 or more licences. Never quote a step in between: "talk to us" for large teams.
- The licence: "One licence per person."
- Leaving and coming back: "If you come off and come back, you come back at whatever the price is then."
- Trial and payment: "There's no free trial. When you're ready, we'll set you up and take payment at sign-up."
- Contract: "You start on a rolling monthly basis. To keep your founding rate long term you'll move onto a twelve-month agreement when the initial period ends; the exact initial period is in the terms you sign." (D18)
- Renewals: "Nothing rolls over without a conversation." Volunteer this one to recruitment buyers.
- Seats remaining: only from live billing data.
