Competitive alternatives and what we offer

The real competitor is usually "nothing". Plan for it first.

Alternative Our opening
Doing nothing "The damage doesn't show up when you stop. It shows up three months later, and by then you've decided it's the market."
Pasting from ChatGPT or Claude No voice per person, no rules check, no approvals, no results, nobody doing the work
A ghostwriter or agency About £1,800 a month for three posts a week for one person; retainers £3,000 to £15,000 a month (illustration only). Ours: the rest of the team, in their own voices
A company-page scheduler Personal posts earned about 9.2 times the engagement of reshared corporate content in one 517,000-post study (vendor data; also a competitor: never name in social or marketing copy)
Paiger (recruitment only) Own-voice drafting at about £48.30 per consultant a month, approval "with one tap by text", 12-month terms (pricing page, 14 October 2026). Ours: whole-firm governance, market news, Holly, multi-sector, no automatic renewals
Employee advocacy suites Original posts in each person's own voice, for firms under about 200 people

Never name a competitor in marketing material (see the Battlecards).

Attributes and how to prove them#

Attribute Pillar Status Prove it in the room
A voice for every person, from LinkedIn posts, pasted writing or a five-minute interview 1 GREEN Holly drafts for someone in the prospect's role while you talk (their own voice only from posts they paste in on the call, with consent)
The day's best stories by sector, company and topic; ideas from meetings 1 GREEN Their sector's feed, live
Firm rules check every post before it goes out; one-click rewrites 2 GREEN Load a short demo policy; watch a risky line get flagged (a second pair of eyes, not a compliance sign-off)
Approval chains, approvals queue, client sign-off by link 2 GREEN Show the queue and a sign-off link
Compliance oversight; workspaces per client; roles; activity log 2 GREEN Oversight view; switch workspaces; open the log
Holly: say what you want, it builds drafts and a schedule on screen, then acts, at Observe, Suggest, Auto-draft or Auto-publish, set per person 3 GREEN "Write me three posts on [their topic]"
Plain-English results per post, voice, campaign or person 4 GREEN Open the results view
Who is engaging with your posts, replied to from one inbox 4 GREEN (wording as written); warmth AMBER (D1) The comment inbox on the demo workspace; never connect a prospect's LinkedIn, never show engagers' names from a colleague's profile until Karl confirms (D1)
Watch: risk level and 30-day trend for named subjects 4 GREEN for subjects, risk level and trend; alert numbers AMBER (D12) Show a subject; never read out alert numbers

The value, one word per pillar: visible, safe, effortless, informed.

Watch out

"Named leads" and "proof of revenue" are RED. On our reading of LinkedIn's developer terms (research, not legal advice; D1 open), the published terms (API version 2026-09) name lead creation, CRM enrichment and exporting member data among prohibited uses. Our legal adviser is reviewing it. Never present this reading to a buyer as "LinkedIn's rules". Use only the GREEN engagement wording.

Best fit and team shapes#

Best fit: revenue that follows individual relationships, roughly 10 to 150 client-facing people, and a reason to care what goes out under their names. Publicly we segment by team shape; sectors appear only in Segment pitches and outbound.

Team shape Lead line Friction that matters most Lead pillar
Freelancers and consultants "Being busy shouldn't make you invisible." Client work always wins. Holly: "Tell Holly what you want." With clients: a workspace and voice per client 1, 3
Teams of 2 to 50 "Everyone visible, in their own voice, without you nagging anyone." The mandate that died in a fortnight. Drafts for each person in their own voice; everyone starts at Suggest 1, 3
Organisations of 50 plus "Your policy, checked on every post before it goes out." Control across many voices. Starts at Suggest or Observe; moves up only when you say so 2, 3

We choose the small pond: inside a category buyers already understand, the platform built for one job. We do not fight Hootsuite on channel breadth or listening.
