Demo hygiene, the reset and the follow-up
Every demo: share a window, not your screen, and check switcher, calendar, queue, Watch list and notifications show only demo material. Never publish to anyone's account or press Approve on a connected profile; a prospect's account is touched only with consent spoken on the call, by the link, on their device. Nobody at Maktura ever needs a password. Record only with the consent line. Running over: say so and offer a second meeting. Never demo a build you have not opened that day.
The reset, after every demo: unschedule and delete every demo post; delete the prospect's voice and pasted text (unless they signed up: then move it to their own workspace); remove watched subjects, feeds, sites and names added for them; disconnect any prospect LinkedIn connection and delete engagement data it pulled in; clear Holly's conversation; re-seed the pre-run.
Within one working day: record the call; update SPICED with their words, the stage and the next-step date (considered deals: economic buyer, decision process, paper process). Send every unanswered question to its owner: product to Dom Watts; data and support to Neil Flannery; legal and written assurances to Karl Foster; commercial exceptions to John Cooper or Alex. Log every Test first result.
The recap email is under 200 words and holds only what you promised: what you heard in their words (issue, two problems, Delta, critical date); your recommendation (seats, Holly at Suggest or Observe, approvals on, policy as rules, first success of a voice and two approved posts within 14 days, 30-day review); the price as "£[band price] per person per month, the founding rate for the band that's open today: £[total] a month for [n] people. I'll confirm the VAT position in writing with your quote."; the next step with day and time in both calendars; and only if promised, "I've asked our legal team for a written answer on [question] and will send it as soon as I have it." Considered deals: send the mutual action plan with it. Buyer dates only; never a Maktura delivery or roadmap date.
