Appendix B: never say, and who answers what

  1. "Nothing ever publishes without approval." Say "we recommend a person approves every LinkedIn post".
  2. Leads, prospects or candidates for engagers; "every like becomes a named lead"; "by the next morning"; any CRM export; competitors' engagers.
  3. "Official APIs only", "we never scrape", "LinkedIn approved"; any written assurance not from our team.
  4. Any certification, a penetration test, "enterprise-grade security", "GDPR compliant".
  5. "Undetectable", "beats the algorithm", "nobody noticed".
  6. "Replaces your marketing team" or a hire.
  7. Revenue attribution, ROI proof, post-level attribution.
  8. Video, image generation, an app, other languages, white labelling, automated engagement, any integration, six platforms.
  9. Any date; "a developer is hired"; "locked", "for life", "no add-ons", "list price"; any discount, code, trial or guarantee; any commission figure.

Aim to come back to the buyer within one working day, even if only to say when the full answer will arrive.

Remember

D1 governs entries 34, 36, 38 to 43 and 83: they are written for the period before Karl Foster rules, and when D1 clears this handbook is superseded and 39 is replaced by his written wording. Entries 13, 31, 49, 50 and 51 route to a written answer under D27. Sellers never send the legal pack.
