Segment 4. Agencies and freelancers with clients

Sales team3 min read

Marketing, PR and social agencies, freelance marketers, ghostwriters and fractional marketing directors who run clients' LinkedIn. Motion: considered when several client workspaces are involved; direct for a single freelancer seat; price always via John, never a list. Entry: the agency's own team plus a handful of client workspaces. Route in: referral and the partner programme (in parallel, not as a fallback).

Care about. Juggling logins, chasing approvals by email, losing a day at month end to reports. They want more clients without more hours, and they will ask about white label: the answer is no.

Opening

"For agencies, price is a conversation, not a list, so I'll understand how you work first. How many client accounts are you running right now, and what's your ceiling?"

Demo. A workspace per client, switched in a click. The moment: "In [demo client]'s workspace, draft three posts for their MD from this week's news, in her voice", then client sign-off by link (no client login; nothing goes out until the agency's own approver agrees; TEST FIRST whether Holly sends it). "Generate a six-post series in [demo client MD]'s voice for their product launch, over three weeks." Bulk import with undo. Holly: Suggest, with client sign-off and the agency's own approval on for every client workspace. Never suggest Auto-publish on a client's account.

Proof. The only usable testimonial is from this segment, a freelance marketer on the pilot. Quote it exactly: "You end up with logins for so many pieces of software and you don't end up using them. This replaces the lot. And it does my least favourite job, end-of-month analytics, in a click." No agency customers.

Objections

Objection Answer
"Can we white label it or resell it?" "No. It's not something we offer, and I'm not going to tell you it's coming. What you do get is a workspace for every client and client sign-off by link with no login."
"What does it cost for an agency?" "Talk to a human and we'll build something around the way you actually work. Your licence covers you; the clients you bring on are part of that conversation. Let me put you in front of John." Never quote a per-client price
"How much more could we take on?" "Worked illustration, and I'm labelling it as exactly that, because I'm not going to pretend this is a forecast. You said month-end reporting takes [their hours] across your clients, and each post takes [their minutes]. If Holly takes the first draft and the results are on one screen, what would you do with those hours? I won't promise a number of extra clients."
"Won't AI make what we do worthless?" "Drafting is getting cheap for everyone. Clients pay for judgement: what to say, when, in whose voice, within what rules. Holly does the routine work."
"Can we just log in as the client?" "No: each person connects their own LinkedIn by a link we send, without sharing a password."
"Can we earn by referring clients?" "Yes, there's a partner route. Commission is set out in your partner agreement; John will take you through it." Never quote a percentage

Offer, compliance and not to say. Agency or multi-client pricing is always a conversation with John; a freelancer on their own LinkedIn only is one licence at the open band. First success, for example "two client workspaces running with sign-off by link for a month, and month end done in an hour". Under ASA and CAP rules the advertiser stays responsible for its content; data terms go to Karl. Never say white label, reseller, "your logo", custom domains, any agency price or commission percentage, "run twenty clients instead of five", "extra clients are free", or any platform beyond LinkedIn.
